Rainbow Corner Pre-School & Playgroup

Rainbow Corner Pre-school and Playgroup (RCPP) is located on the main street of Moira and has been established for over 30 years. It caters for up to 24 children each session and is open five mornings per week plus two afternoons depending on numbers registered.

RCPP is a registered charity, approved by Social Services and is registered with the Southern Eastern Health & Social Care Trust. It is managed by a committee of volunteers and has four fully trained members of staff.

RCPP aims to provide a high standard of play and care, enriching the lives of the children through child-centred learning during their formative years. We hope that the safe, secure and welcoming environment we provide will help children to achieve their full potential. RCPP follows the curriculum which has been designed by the Department of Education for NI (DENI) and uses resources and activities to encourage children to embrace the six areas of learning.

RCPP welcomes children with specific needs and works closely with other professionals to promote the development of these children.

Parents/Carers are encouraged to consider giving some time to support RCPP in various ways such as help with fund raising, joining the committee or participating in additional activities.

Funded places can only be considered for those children in their pre-school year.
