Open to anybody interested in folklore, this event, presented by Michael Fortune (www.folklore.ie) will show show you how you too can become a collector. Work from local collectors will be displayed and screened. Everybody is welcome.

This session will provide an introduction to understanding copyright, intellectual property and moral rights. It will outline the responsibilities of authors/creators to identify copyright holders, as well as exploring the obligations and exceptions around Copyright. It will also provide an introduction to research concepts, and discuss the responsibility of the author/creator to identify and use reliable sources. Online session, free of charge.

The Oriel Traditional Music Archive, in collaboration with the CCG Museum Service is hosting a series of training session on Archive Work.
