Larne YMCA

Established in 1982 Larne YMCA provides programmes for children and young people from its purpose built centre in Larne.  It is locally renowned for its EA funded youth provision with a registration of 350 young people aged 7 - 18yrs.  Youth provision operates 5 nights a week, led by a dynamic team of staff and    volunteers.  Additionally the organisation provides a valued and well attended afterschool provision 5 afternoons a week and an autism programme supporting young people on the autistic specturm aged 4 - 18 years to socialise, build relationships and develop communication skills.  It participates in various local networks and projects both statutory and voluntary.  The organisation adopts a person centred approach across all services and focusses on enabling children to connect, develop, grow, reach their potential and have fun.
