L'Arche Belfast

L’Arche communities  create opportunities for people with learning disabilities to take up their places in the world, to offer their gifts, to realize their potential and to make an active contribution to society.

We have several projects in which we are accpeting volunteers:

Root Soup- Social catering enterprise working together with adults with disabilities, volunteers, and men and women who are homeless, cooking meals, catering special events, and learning about healthy living.

In Other Words- Art group, doing art, making crafts and cards, and having fun!

The Garden- Community allotement. Working together to grow vegetables, do garden maintenance, building supplies, and tending to soil. We use a lot of our vegetables in Root Soup, and even some of our herbs/flowers in our art group!
