Houses of Parliament Outreach and Engagement

United Kingdom

Opening Hours

Find out how to make the UK Parliament work for you with a workshop or presentation tailored to your organisation's needs. Take advantage of a range of free interactive sessions.

You can learn the basics with an introduction to your UK Parliament or develop your expert campaigner skills. Find out how to influence MPs and members of the House of Lords and discover how select committees work.

These sessions are for all sorts of civic organisations, including housing associations, tenants and resident groups, voluntary or community organisations, faith groups, youth groups, sports groups, co-ops, social enterprises and many more. Whether you are concerned with housing, education, the environment or something else, tell us you want from your session and we’ll ensure we focus on the issues that matter most to you.

If you are part of a group of people that are underrepresented in Parliament, we are particularly keen to support you. For example, we offer sessions specially targeting women and women’s groups, adults with learning disabilities (ALD), young people, black and ethnic minorities. We also provide Welsh language sessions for Welsh speakers.

Choose from a 2 hour interactive workshop with discussions, debates and quizzes (minimum 15 people) or a 1 hour presentation with Q&A (minimum 20 people).

It is also possible to mix and match the sessions depending upon the requirements of your audience. To find out more, contact your Community Outreach and Engagement Officer.
