Core Values
- To promote a person centred approach in all of our work to enable all staff, volunteers and participants to realise and achieve their full potential through creative and enjoyable programmes of activity.
- To develop user focused programmes and activities, which encourage access for all members of society regardless of any differences whether real or perceived.
- To ensure that the sum of our work maintains and enhances our long term sustainability.
- To centre all our activities on the principles of equity, diversity and interdependence.
- To encourage the empowerment, inclusion and involvement of all our staff, volunteers and participants.
Core Programmes
We are currently in a position of redevloping our organisational structure, and refocussing our sights on local community development, while continuing to commit to cross community youth residential programmes. At present, our core programmes are:
Monday 10:00-12:30 Chi-Mi - Stress-busting gentle movement class
Wednesday 14:00-16:00 Singing Circle - An opportunity to sing well-known and less well known music in a zero pressure environment
Thursday 10:15-11:45 Tots n' Teenies - Parents and toddlers community group
We also run Seedbed, which is a community plant growth organisation. Seedbed has the use of a polytunnel, an ever growing of planters as well as a number of berry bushes, a herb garden and different types of flowers growing all year-round.
