Good Morning North Belfast

"The Good Morning North Belfast Service provides free telephone care support for vulnerable and older people".

The service acts as an alert when a member fails to answer their phone. When repeated calls go unanswered, the telephone carer will, where appropriate, liaise with service providers, (eg home help, social services), to try to locate our member and verify their safety.

Aim…

" To reduce the feelings of fear, vulnerability and isolation felt by older people, youth at risk, women and other vulnerable residents living in the North Belfast area".



Such feelings can result in a negative impact on the health and well-being of those individuals who experience them.

It is hoped that the Good Morning North Belfast Service can go some way to reversing this negative impact.

• Health awareness workshops.

• Hospital visitation.

• Community safety awareness workshops.

• Befriending

• E-mail / photocopying / fax facility

• Inter-generational projects

• Counselling service



Available free of charge to Good Morning North Belfast cllient base:
