We aim to build strong working relationships and facilitate communication between ourselves, local government bodies , other community associations . local business and educational institutions. we seek to enhance the social,recreational and economic well being of all our residents. improve our quality of life and instill a sense of belonging in the Derrybeg community.

Activities

The Derrybeg community association organizes events that bring the community together.the halloween festival, youth workshops, womens forum. social community clinics, outdoor activities, nightwalks, mountain walks, M.T.B trail and many more.

Our work

We have members that sit on all local authority bodies in a voluntary capacity. giving our community a direct imput into issues that could directly affect them regarding health, housing, environmental, roads, community satety. this gives us an opportunity to represent our community’s interest at the highest local level.
