Crescent Vitality (SCA LTD)

Crescent Vitality (Springfield Charitable Association) is a charity providing services within the community in West Belfast since establishment in 1980. The mission statement of the charity is “to provide professional support, care and advice enabling social inclusion” with a specific target beneficiary group of older people living in West Belfast. Central to the work of the charity is the provision of an Older People’s Day Care Centre and Advice service. All services are provided within the SCA building at 27 Clonard Crescent. In 2020 the charity added a hydrotherapy service which provides warm water based therapies for those with challenging emotional and physical health conditions. SCA also manages an Advice and Advocacy service for those residents that need help to access welfare and housing information and support. In addition the work we do provides opportunities for volunteers and this includes projects such as gardening and a community drop in cafe
