Community developmentClimate Week is the UK's biggest climate change campaign. Culminating in a week of events and activities, it showcases the positive solutions to climate change that are happening across the country and in all sectors, inspiring more people to take action.
Culminating in a week of events and activities, Climate Week takes place every year in March and aims to shine a spotlight on the positive solutions to climate change that are happening across the UK. These events will inspire people to then take action on climate change for the remaining 51 weeks of the year, creating a national movement for change. In 2013 Climate Week will be on 4th-10th March. Supported by the Prime Minister, Lord Deben, Sir Paul McCartney, DEFRA, Girlguiding UK and the CBI, to name a few, the past two years have seen a total of 6000 events attended by over half a million people from every sector of society. The aim is to annually renew our ambitions to tackle climate change and accelerate Britain’s drive towards a low-carbon society.
