Climate Craic aims to bring people together to highlight the joy and beauty of climate action. What started as part of an Active Citizens programme, hosted by the British Council and Co-operation Ireland, blossomed into Northern Ireland’s first and leading Climate Action Festival.
Our first festival at Stormont in September 2021 highlighted Northern Ireland’s passionate and eco-conscious community. It was a lively event with creative acts, performers, and musicians, adding to the fun and vibrant atmosphere.
We welcome people from all walks of life, not just those already involved in climate action.
We focus on positivity and fun, aiming to engage everyone and nurture hope and community spirit in the face of eco-anxiety and climate change.
The Climate Craic Festival is our main event. It connects people inside and outside the environmental movement. We celebrate climate action with music, performances, art, comedy, and stalls from various community and environmental groups.
We strive to make climate action accessible to everyone, spreading joy and showcasing positive steps already being taken. Join us and be part of the change.
