The British Science Association (BSA) is a charity, founded in 1831 and incorporated by Royal Charter. Our vision is of a world where science is at the heart of culture and society. Our mission is to transform the diversity and inclusivity of science; to reach under-served audiences; and increase the number of people who are actively engaged and involved in science. By unlocking the potential of a more diverse group of people, we increase our ability to tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges and shape our future for the better.

The British Science Association coordinates, delivers and oversees a number of different projects and programmes aimed at engaging more people with science. We work across the UK by building partnerships with national and local organisations that match our vision of a world where science is seen as a fundamental part of our culture and society.
