Join us for a screening of the Movie ‘Resilience’, directed by James Redford, as we delve into how Adverse Childhood Experiences (or ACEs) can be linked to destructive behavior and medical diseases. The film will be followed by a panel discussion.   RESILIENCE: THE BIOLOGY OF STRESS & THE SCIENCE OF HOPE chronicles the birth of a new movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators and communities, who are using cutting-edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease.   The original research was controversial, but the findings revealed the most important public health findings of a generation. “The child may not remember, but the body remembers.”

This event will provide attendees with a better understanding and acceptance of Neurodiversity. Rebecca will discuss the common misconceptions and myths surrounding Neurodiversity, in particular Autism and ADHD. Nicki will help us develop a better understanding of retained primitive reflexes and their links to trauma recovery.
