Youth@Play training – building play in youth settings

Following the success of the Youth@Play pilot programme, this current delivery, funded by the Education Authority (EA), will run from May 2022 to March 2023.

Full and part-time workers and volunteers in both the statutory and voluntary sector across all council areas in Northern Ireland will have the opportunity to be involved.

PlayBoard’s Youth@Play team will deliver the OCN NI endorsed Playwork in a Youth Work Setting to youth workers across the youth sector – at Level 2 for part-time workers and volunteers, and at Level 3 for full-time staff.

Level 2: Online evening sessions Tuesday and Thursday 6.00 – 9.00pm starting Tuesday 7 June or Thursday 9 June for 8 weeks.

Level 3: Online afternoon sessions Tuesday and Thursday 1.30 – 4.30pm starting Tuesday 7 June or Thursday 9 June for 8 weeks.

Summer delivery dates are TBC.

Expressions of interest for the first batch of training above are sought from those working in all council areas. Places are limited so please complete the form as soon as you can.
