Segway Challenge

On Sunday 17th June 2012, Northern Ireland’s latest fundraising event will be coming to Belfast. The ‘Segway Time Trial’ is a top gear style challenge within the grounds of Belfast City Hall and participants can help raise essential funds for Habitat NI.

Segway challengers will go head to head in a test of skill and speed through a series of obstacles around the grounds from parking challenges to chicanes.

Participants must be at least 11 or over 6 ½ stone, no segway experience is required as full training is provided including a 20 minute practice session. Why not sign up and challenge a friend to race against you?

This is the first ever Segway Time Trail challenge in Belfast and the event will test not just speed but ability. The two wheeled Segways are absolutely fantastic and sure to draw attention but very importantly it is about people to taking on the challenge to fundraise and help make a difference. Although other charities will be taking part, participants fundraising on behalf of Habitat NI will have exclusive use of the course between 2-4pm.

Spaces are limited, to secure your place please contact Joanne McQuillan at [email protected] or call 028-90-243686 ext 220.
