Representation at WOMEX (World Music Expo)

Beyond Skin‘s managing director, Darren Ferguson as part of this year’s Irish delegation, will be attending WOMEX World Music Expo 2013 ( www.womex.com ) which will be held in Cardiff 23 – 27 October. Darren will be representing Northern Ireland’s World Music & Community Arts sector and his attendance at WOMEX has been supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

The five day event in Cardiff will have representation from:

• 2,200 delegates and 1,200 companies from 90 countries.
• 730 concert and festival bookers.
• 490 labels, publishers and distributors.
• 570 managers and 310 producers.
• 330 national and international journalists, including 160 radio broadcasters.
• A bustling Trade Fair with 600 exhibiting companies from 40 countries at 245 stands.
