Poolbeg Publishers launch Christmas book of short stories with pledge to Barnardo's

Poolbeg Publishers has launched a book of heart warming short stories –titled All I Want for Christmas, written primarily by Poolbeg Publishers well known names all of whom are donating their royalties to Barnardo’s.

The book is a collection of humourous, witty, sad, charming and poignant stories to ensure there is a great read for everyone.  It is super stocking filler, Christmas present, Kris kindle idea or a treat for you.  Poolbeg Publisher Paula Campbell said “Obviously reading is very close to my heart and helping Barnardo’s with their NI educational work including literacy, confidence building, homework clubs and after school assistance is a great honour for us.  Many of our authors including Claire Allen, Martina Devlin, Rosemary McLoughlin, Marisa Mackle amongst others and great media supporters have contributed a short story to make this the perfect read leading up to Christmas and we are proud to work with them and the children’s charity Barnardo’s NI.

Director Barnardo’s NI, Lynda Wilson, said, “We are delighted that Poolbeg Publishers and so many of its well-known authors have contributed to this collection of Christmas short stories in aid of Barnardo’s NI. The tales will raise a smile, as well as much needed funds to help us continue providing services to those children who need us most, particularly at Christmas. I know everyone who buys it will enjoy it and also because they will be helping change a little life for the better.”
