Patient and Client Council comes to Banbridge

The Patient and Client Council is holding a public roadshow in the Old Town Hall, Banbridge on Wednesday 3rd December 2014 to give people the opportunity to ask leaders and decision makers about local and regional Health and Social Care services.

This is the last in a series of six roadshows the Patient and Client Council has organised throughout Northern Ireland.

Chief Executive, Maeve Hully says “It’s vital the people of Banbridge and the surrounding areas, including Armagh, Dungannon, Craigavon and Newry and Mourne have their voices heard regarding health and social care services. We all depend on and avail of our health services and the roadshows are a good opportunity to get involved”.

Maeve adds, “We ran a series of roadshows in 2012 that were attended by over 500 service users and carers. We want to provide more opportunities for the public to engage with our leaders and decision makers so we encourage you to come along”.

The panel for the event will be made up of leaders from the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, the Health and Social Care Board, the Southern Health and Social Care Trust and the Local Commissioning Group.

Registration and refreshments will be from 6:30pm. Event will begin at 7:00pm sharp and end at 8:30pm. Places are limited so RSVP is essential.

Please email [email protected] stating your “NAME” and “ROAD SHOW VENUE” or call 0800 917 0222 to book your place. Please advise if you have any special needs which require attention, e.g. access, hearing or visual aids.
