The LEMIS+ Project is a partnership of employment service providers working collectively to deliver an employability project right across Belfast City. The partnership is led by Ashton Community Trust (ACT) working in North Belfast in conjunction with GEMS NI (South Belfast), Upper Springfield Development Trust (West Belfast), Impact Training/Greater Shankill Job Assist Centre (Greater Shankill) and East Belfast Mission (East Belfast).

At the heart of the LEMIS+ Project is our training delivery.  Through the LEMIS+ Project participants have the option of undertaking a range of OCN accredited training in areas such as ICT, childcare, health and social care, language for work and Employability.  This in-house training offers LEMIS+ Clients the opportunity to gain new skills, especially those who left education a long time ago without any formal qualifications or those seeking to re-skill.  The relationship with OCN NI is vital to our training delivery and the Awarding Body of choice for LEMIS+.  Working closely with OCN NI to deliver and develop new courses continues to be very positive and the staff at OCN NI are very willing to offer assistance and support.

The LEMIS+ Project is part funded by the NI European Social Fund Programme 2014 – 2020 Investment for Growth and Jobs as well as the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL); Office of First and Deputy First Minister (OFM/DFM) and Belfast City Council (BCC).
