New Christmas Appeal
Playing Our Part is BBC Northern Ireland’s Christmas Appeal for 2014. We’re working with local charity Age NI to highlight the needs, experiences and contribution of older people. And we want as many people as possible to get involved.
Older people play an important, if sometimes overlooked, role in local society. Their needs, experiences and contribution to community life don’t always get the attention that they deserve. All of this is something that we are hoping to address through a new BBC Broadcast Appeal, working in partnership with Age NI. We’ll have stories, features and reports across the BBC’s airwaves and want as many people as possible to get involved. Everyone can play their part… individuals, organisations and communities.
