Hope Centre, Ballymena delivers education programmes in relation to substance misuse. The ‘Lets Get Together” Project is an initiative to support older people aged 50+ years who are at risk of addiction it will be delivered across the North PHA area.

Support and Treatment:
The programme is comprised of counselling and complimentary therapy, education career support, family support, social events, intergeneration groups. Community Pharmacist talks on safe disposal of medication, storing medication and safe use of medication. Plus a 10 week rehabilitation project delivered twice a year the next project will start January 2015 see leaflet (download - top right)
Social Activities:
There will be opportunities for social activities and outings for older people involved in the programme.
Crafts, film nights, crafts , art therapy, Bingo and much more.
