‘Grow Your Own’ training in Cloughmills

When: Saturday 22nd June

Where: The Old Mill complex, Cloughmills [beside the Health Centre]

Time: 10am – 3pm

Cost: £20

Tea/coffee provided but bring a packed lunch!

This is aimed at those who have little or no previous growing experience.  During the session you will learn about:

• Assessing your yard, garden, allotment
• Soil and soil health
• The vegetable, fruit and herb garden
• Growing with limited space
• Planning and rotation
• Natural pest and disease control
• Companion planting

Participants will also have the opportunity to prepare a window box to take home and visit the Incredible Edible Mill project.
