Great funding opportunity for local voluntary organisations
Department for Communities Minister Paul Givan MLA joined newly appointed delivery partners, Limavady Community Development Initiative (LCDI), the Association of Independent Volunteer Centres (AIVC) Volunteer Now and North West Volunteer Centre to launch
The Volunteering Small Grants Programme provides grants of between £200 and £1,200 to help organisations throughout Northern Ireland recruit and support volunteers. To be eligible, organisations must be formally constituted and must have an annual income not exceeding £100,000 per year.
Lindsay Armstrong, Community Engagement Manager, Volunteer Now said;
“This is an excellent funding opportunity for small volunteer involving organisations which fulfill the criteria of the grant. It will enable them to support existing volunteers and recruit new volunteers to help to meet local need”
