Get an in-depth look at the work of Northern Ireland’s charity regulator

Meet the Chief Charity Commissioner and get an in-depth look at the work of the regulator at the Commission’s annual public meeting.

Announcing the meeting, scheduled for 22 January 2025, Chief Charity Commissioner, Gerard McCurdy, emphasised the event as a significant opportunity for the charity sector, and for the Commission itself.

“Our public meeting is an annual occasion that provides insights into key aspects of our work, from annual reporting by charities through to enquiries, as well as our plans for the future,” he stated.

“It is also an important opportunity for us to listen to you – to hear about the areas and issues that are important to those leading and working with charities in Northern Ireland today.

“I would, therefore, like to call on those who support, work with or use charities to join us and discover more about how the Commission is striving to engage and enable them.”
