Eligibility Criteria for the Management Apprenticeship Programme 

  1. Employment Status
    • Applicants must be employed for at least 21 hours per week. 
    • Applicants should not have an existing management qualification at level 3 or above. They can have qualifications/degrees in other fields. 
    • They must not be a civil servant. 
  2. Educational Requirements
    • Possession of GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths, English, and ICT, or the equivalent level 2 essential skills in the subjects not achieved. If they do not hold these, they must be willing to complete as part of the programme, this is also fully funded under the programme if required. 
  3. Skills Assessment
    • Applicants will undergo a short paper-based skills assessment to determine their job role aligns with DfE guidelines for the management level programme. There is also an employer agreement as well learner agreement. The employer will receive the incentive on completion of the course by their participants.

Dates: 

Run 1 – Advice NI offices  Belfast

Induction 30th Aug then the last Friday of the month thereafter for 9 months.  

Run 2 – Burnavon Arts and Cultural Centre Cookstown

Friday 20th September and then every 3rd Friday of the month from that date for 9 months.
