Free Workshops for Writers’ Groups

Community Arts Partnership  is pleased to invite applications from writers’ groups to participate in a series of workshops to produce work for a new poetry anthology. Each participating group will receive facilitation of two workshops of up to three hours each during the months of November and December.  Workshops are facilitated by one of our team of poets.  Participants are then invited to submit work developed in the workshop process for inclusion in the anthology due to be launched in March.

This project will continue to build on the successful work undertaken in our Poetry in Motion programme which has showcased new writing talent alongside more established names in the world of poetry and spoken word.  Previous contributors to the programmes include Seamus Heaney, Sinead Morrissey, Meadbh McGuckian, Ben Maeir, Ann Zell, Ruth Carr and Paul Maddern.
