Free Parent Course - See the world through your child's eyes!
Employers For Childcare Solutions, through funding from the Big Lottery, is offering free workshops for parents. Promoting Positive Behaviour Workshop to help parents create a common ground with children, and understand the world from their eyes.
Parents often face a variety of situations, from their child throwing a tantrum in a supermarket; not eating at meal times; refusing to go to bed; lashing out when things don’t go their way. The Promoting Positive Behaviour workshop will provide parents with insight and information on how to effectively communicate with children on their own level.
The workshop aims to help parents understand their child’s behaviours and cope with difficult situations more effectively. It will give parents a more complete understanding of managing and responding to their child’s feelings and establishing a strong relationship between the parent and child.
The workshop will look at practical evidence-based strategies and approaches you can use to create positive solutions for your family and share your experiences and insights with other parents.
Parents that have previously taken part in the workshop found it extremely beneficial. Joanne Hayes said “Super course every Mum & Dad should go” and Rebecca Jane said “Very informative course. Could have talked for hours with everyone inputting/ giving advice”.
