FREE Breast and Cervical Screening Awareness Programmes
WRDA are offering a FREE Breast Awareness Programme to Women’s Groups in the Belfast Trust and South Eastern Trust areas.
The Programme is delivered over 2 sessions and aims to raise awareness of the importance of Breast and Cervical Screening, by providing information that will encourage women to avail of the screening services on offer and help address any fears surrounding attending screening. The sessions are fully interactive and fun yet still deliver a high impact message.
Women who take part in the programme will gain:
- Awareness of the importance of Breast & Cervical Screening.
- Confidence to self examine their breasts.
- Encouragement to attend for screening
- A better understanding of signs symptoms and results
