Creating Futures: Reimagining the Arts in NI
Arts & Business NI is delighted to launch Creating Futures: Reimagining the Arts in NI programme. This unique programme aims to support arts managers and fundraisers to plan their own routes to Creating, Leading, and Fundraising for the Future.
The key to sustainable success is the capacity to lead confidently through innovation, to outthink and outperform the competition. Now more than ever it is vital to foster resilience, to scenario plan multiple possibilities for the future, and to have a strategic response ready.
Arts & Business Northern Ireland have launched their Creating Futures programme - a new strategic development initiative for the cultural sector supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland (ACNI), delivered by the Ulster Business School at the University of Ulster.
Designed for senior managers in a leadership role within their organisation, Creating Futures participants work towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Leadership (one third of a MSc), and will attend three formal University modules, a UK Learning Experience to both Liverpool & Edinburgh, a governance master-class, business planning master-classes, peer-to-peer support through Action Learning Sets, and will have mentor support to develop a business plan and fundraising strategy by Autumn 2012.
While Creating Futures is academic in nature, it is about practical outcomes. Board involvement is integral so organisations will be fully committed to implementing real organisational change.
This unique programme aims to support arts managers and fundraisers to plan their own routes to Creating, Leading, and Fundraising for the Future.
