Congratulations to our members

The winners of the UK Housing Awards 2012 were announced on Wednesday 27 June at a glittering ceremony in London.

NIFHA wishes to extend its heartiest congratulations to all Northern Ireland based housing associations in the final.

Trinity Housing and Alpha Housing were nominated in the “Development of the Year - Small Schemes”, but lost out to Test Valley Borough Council.  Meanwhile, Clanmil Housing’s ‘Recall, Record, Relive’ initiative was also a worthy finalist in the “Specialist Housing Provider” category losing out to Kemble Housing from Hertfordshire.

Commenting on their success Cameron Watt (NIFHA Chief Executive designate) said:

“The awards illustrate the very best in UK housing.  I am delighted our members were part of it, showcasing the high quality housing and support services housing associations offer to the Northern Ireland community."

“Congratulations to all three finalists, they are a superb example of our movement’s work.”
