Community Groups Invited To Run Away With The Circus This Christmas!
Belfast's forward-thinking award-winning circus company, Tumble Circus is delighted to return to Belfast's Writers’ Square with Winter Circus and has opened their bookings for community groups and third-sector organisations across Northern Ireland.
Now in its sixth successful year, the hugely popular family show will be hosted in the fantastic, central location of Writers’ Square, Belfast. Never one to conform to expectations, the Tumble Circus troop will treat your family and friends to a Winter extravaganza unlike anything else on offer in Belfast!
The Winter Circus shows will run between December 16th 2022 & January 02nd 2023 and will take place at Writers’ Square in Belfast in their fully heated Tumble Circus big top tent!
Performed "in the round" for the first time and with a host of new local talent performing, as well as old favourites, the Winter Circus Show will be an all-human, all skill and all-thrill event. Expect modern, high-skilled acts, including acrobats, aerialists and jugglers in this one hour of hammer-smashing Belfast-inspired circus.
Winter Circus Shows will be spectacular with an inspiring modern soundtrack, international circus artists and comedy characters that both young and old can enjoy, expect big laughs and mighty craic to be had.
Part of Tumble Circus' mission is to make circus accessible for all and to that end has kept ticket prices low and offers discounted group booking rates for charities and community groups across Northern Ireland. The show is fully accessible for people with additional mobility needs with a dropped kerb access point, movable seats and carer tickets available. Winter Circus will also host its 'Relaxed Show' on Tuesday 20th December. This show has been specifically designed to welcome people with a learning disability, Down’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Condition or sensory and communication disorders. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement and some small changes made to the light and sound effects. There will be additional space for seating and an AccessoLoo onsite for this performance.
