Brand new programme for community and special-interest groups designed to increase communications capacity

This modular programme has been specifically developed for community and special-interest groups which have a compelling need to make their voices heard in a cluttered communications environment, where optimising the capacity to communicate effectively has never been more important.
The programme includes nine modules:
- The Principles of Communication, Identification of Target Audiences and Key Message Development
- Making the Press and Media Work for You - 1 (with particular emphasis on the local press and media)
- Making the Press and Media Work for You - 2 (the broadcast media)
- Presenting to Win
- Developing Leaflets, Posters, Newsletters and Advertisements
- Promoting Your Cause Online via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and Writing a Blog
- Making Video for YouTube Using Photographs, Music and Text
- Fundraising and Event Management
- Developing a Communications Strategy
Each module is stand-alone in the sense that it can be taken individually as a one-off course. Modules can also be taken in groups or as the full nine-module programme (30 0r 33 hours). Delivery can take place during the day, in the evenings or at weekends.
