OCN NI are delighted to announce the approval of a suite of QCF approved awards. These qualifications are available from Entry Level to Level 2
New Suite of QCF Approved OCN NI Awards
These awards have been designed to offer centres the opportunity to deliver small and flexible QCF qualifications in a range of curriculum and at different levels. These awards also support our soon to be approved Vocational Skills qualifications which will be available at Entry Level 3, Level One and Level Two and at Award, Certificate and Diploma level.
The suite of Vocational Skills (VQ) qualifications will provide an excellent replacement for our expiring Qualifications in Progression and Skills Towards Enabling Progression (Step-UP). These VQs will consist of core units around communication and personal development skills, plus a range of pathways such as;

- Catering
- Salon Skills for Hair and Beauty
- Horticulture
- Vehicle Care & Maintenance
- Sport & Leisure
- Building & Construction
- Creative Arts & Performance
- Social Care & Early Years
