A BBC Radio Ulster Appeal on behalf of Linking Generations

Linking Generations makes connections between people of different ages.

It involves young people, older people and all of the ages in between.  Some of the charity's projects have helped older people to connect with the digital world. Other projects have included arts and crafts, storytelling and community clean-ups.

Creating opportunities for people from different generations to spend time together can help to build understanding and respect.  Linking Generations’ work allows people of different ages to spend time together – sharing stories and experiences and learning from each other. Very often, those taking part discover that they have more in common than they had ever imagined!

If you would like  to find out more about the charity's work or you would like to introduce an inter-generational element to projects in your school or community group, then please visit the BBC Northern Ireland Appeals website
