BBC Broadcast Appeals - New Opportunity
Broadcast Appeals have been part of BBCNI’s work for over 80 years. These short programmes seek to profile the activities of local charities. They are broadcast throughout the year on BBC television and radio and are also available online.
We want to develop a new approach to our Christmastime Appeal and are particularly interested in proposals that will focus on the needs of older people and/or intergenerational themes. Applications are invited from charities, operating on a region-wide basis, with expertise in this area. This Appeal won’t be for fundraising purposes as this opportunity already exists within other BBC programming. Editorial, technical and other support will be available from the BBC.
