Announcing August dates for NIACRO's CPD Certified training course - Recruiting People with Convictions in Northern Ireland

Are you involved in recruiting staff and unsure about employing people with convictions? NIACRO's CPD-certified training will help you make informed and fair recruitment decisions that benefit your organisation, and people who want to move forward.

Recruiting skilled and experienced people to work in your organisation can be a challenge and one many charities are increasingly experiencing. NIACRO is a charity in Northern Ireland, that for over 50 years, has been supporting people with convictions to secure employment, build positive futures and contribute meaningfully to society.

We understand that employers can be concerned about recruiting people with convictions. We also know that many sectors are struggling to attract skilled and experienced staff.  This CPD-certified training has been designed and is delivered by NIACRO staff with expert and acute front-line experience in supporting people with convictions. Over 90% of participants in the last quarter felt highly satisfied with the increased level of knowledge they had gained, and all participants felt it had contributed to their professional development.

The training is designed for all employers within the community and voluntary sector, however large or small. It will be of particular interest to those with HR functions as well as managers, trustees and directors involved with employee recruitment processes. Staff who support and advise people with convictions will also find the training beneficial.

Choose from one of our next two training dates:

Thursday 10th August 10.30-1.00 pm in-person in our Portadown offices, or

Thursday 17th August 10.30-1.00 pm online. £80 per person including CPD certification.
