Afghanistan community group launches UNOY Radio series on Homely Planet

Beyond Skin is excited to launch a series of global partnership radio programmes, through our Homely Planet radio network in association with the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY).

This exciting new radio sries will feature radio programmes produced by UNOY members from all over world. UNOY's basic vision is that of youth committed to jointly building a world in which peace, justice, solidarity, human dignity and respect for nature prevail.

The UNOY mission is to link up young people's initiatives through a Network of 35 Member Organisations for peace within a global network of young peacebuilders, to help empower their capacities and to help increase the effectiveness of their actions. UNOY radio is one of these initiatives.

As a member organisation, Beyond Skin is excited by this new series of international partnership productions, which will reflect the diversity of UNOY membership, and explore a number of organisations and their work in detail.

The first radio UNOY broadcast comes from Afghanistan, produced by member organisation Afghans for Progressive Thinking.
The impressive and informative programme features a combination of Afghan music and discussion, detailing how APT function. It is just under 30 minutes long, and primarily in English, and available to listen to now!
