Purpose and function of post:
- To work with the Youth Work Development Team to deliver high quality projects and activities for young people.
- To mentor and work directly with young people aged 11 - 25 years through established projects that facilitates their participation and creates opportunities for personal development, good relations, and skills development.
Please note: Due consideration will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career in youth work if you do not meet all the specified criteria. In this case evidence of volunteering experience or working in a youth setting will be considered. We will provide training and support to those who wish to pursue a career in Youth Work.

A youth work qualification at OCN level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline. A minimum of 1 year’s paid or 3 year’s voluntary experience working directly with children and young people. 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths, Grade C or above.
