We're on a mission to teach young people across the country how to save lives. Our youth programmes are a chance for young people to learn important first aid skills in a fun, friendly, and safe environment

As a Youth Volunteering Support Officer, you will support the development of St John Ambulance Northern Ireland's offer for young people and the expansion of our reach within local communities.

St John Ambulance Northern Ireland aims for more young people than ever to be qualified and ready to be active health citizens, role models and be the next generation health professionals. Young people are supported to play an active role in creating health resilience in their community, through programmes shaped by them. This role will support the development of our work with volunteers and young people alongside supporting the expansion of SJA NI's reach within communities while supporting our regional volunteer youth team.

You will be working with us to achieve ambitious targets in recruiting both youth team volunteers and young people while working towards empowering young people who would not otherwise have been able to pursue health volunteering. You will get a chance to utilise your creative and innovative ideas.

This position is fixed term until 31st March 2026 (16 -20hrs per week).
