Join us and use your skills to make a real difference

Extern transforms lives as the leading social justice charity across the island of Ireland. We believe another chance can change a life. Each year we speak up for and support more than 25,000 adults, children, young people and families.

Volunteers can help us to enable our clients to overcome challenges, empower positive change and transform their lives. By contributing your time and skills, together we can help offer even more life-changing supports to the most vulnerable in our communities. Further details on volunteering with Extern can be found here https://www.extern.org/volunteer-with-us

Pathways supports vulnerable learners as appropriate to their individual needs and requirements on the basis of an initial assessment and within a thematic framework which makes learning practical and relevant to those young people aged 15-16 years who have found it difficult to engage within a mainstream learning environment
