Under 18s Ministry Coordinator with a particular focus on Young People

What the role involves:

• To oversee our ministry to children and young people - and their families - under our Rector.
• To provide coordination and vision to our volunteers working with children.
• To engage directly with young people (12-18s) in our church and community to foster fun, friendships and faith.
• To inspire and engage the wider church in this ministry.

Who we are looking for:

• A committed Christian, who can demonstrate a love for young people and a desire to help them begin and grow a relationship with God.
• A self-starter who will take prayerful initiative in developing ministry to children and young people - and their families.
• A well-organised communicator and team player.

Hours and Salary: Hours are both flexible and negotiable within a preferred range of 10-15 hours per week. This must include Sundays. Please note all face-to-face time is currently on a Sunday. Salary will be dependent on agreed hours and experience within the range: £8,656 to £13,747 (NJC Salary points 20 - 23).
