Trustee Opportunity

Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is one of the largest corporate Foundations in Northern Ireland, funded by the profits of Lloyds Banking Group. The Foundation is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. For over 40 years, we have been investing in local charities, empowering communities in greatest need to flourish. During this time, we have supported in excess of 11,500 projects to the tune of over £41.5million.

In 2024 alone, we committed approximately £1.6 million in funding, directly supporting 309 charities that serve the most vulnerable people in our communities. Our trustees are crucial in supporting the Foundation in making a significant impact.

We now wish to recruit two individuals to join our dynamic Board. As a trustee, you will have a genuine opportunity to contribute to the debate and discussion that will inform and shape the future direction whilst observing the legal obligations and responsibilities of trusteeship.

We are specifically encouraging applications from individuals who have an accountancy background or those with direct community and voluntary experience (through employment or volunteering).
