
Title: Theatre Technician
Salary: £26,500 - £29,500 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Lyric Theatre, Belfast (occasional off-site and tour)
Hours: 43 hours per week (Monday to Sunday)
Holidays: 24 + BHs

We’re looking for a versatile and enthusiastic Theatre Technician to join our dynamic team. You'll flex across all technical aspects of the theatre, ensuring everything from rigging lights to setting up sound is top-notch. Check out the Job Profile on our website for more details.
Essential Criteria
- Previous professional experience of working in technical theatre position, or relevant training
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required for the role, including working at height
- Computer literate, fluent in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications.
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge and practical experience of production and technical techniques including set construction, rigging, lighting, sound, and projection;
- Knowledge and experience of lighting and sound setup including ETC EOS family software and QLab;
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedures including requirements under LOLER, PUWER, and COSHH;
- Knowledge and experience in the use of counterweight flying systems and other rigging equipment;
- Previous experience of Live Audio Mixing;
- Knowledge and experience of technical repairs and maintenance;
- First aid or health and safety qualification;
- Full clean driving licence
