The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member:
Team Leader REF: 18/120/TL-WBLO/WEB
The Team Leader will mentor and supervise the Support Team and will work on the Rota on an as required basis that includes unsocial hours and weekends.
Hours: 30 hours per week Team Leader
Contract: Permanent
Location: Living options services in Belfast – (primary location West Belfast)
Salary: 3 point incremental scale starting on £18,836 (£9.79 per hour) per annum pro rata (plus sleep in expenses if required)
Essential Criteria:
- Numerate and literate with ability to set up and maintain accurate records, handle clients finances, and compile reports.
- NVQ 3 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent or willing to attain a Level 3 QCF qualification.
- Demonstrable evidence of 1 years experience working with people in a care/ support capacity within the last 2 years.
- Two years’ previous experience in a human services setting providing support/care.
- Experience of working in partnership with service users, parents, health care professionals, carers, advocates and other agencies
- Good working knowledge of IT, specifically Microsoft Word & Outlook.
Desirable Criteria:
- Recognised qualification e.g. nursing / social work
- QCF5 Health & Social Care
- Experience of working in a Supported Living environment
- Experience of supervising staff and co-ordinating provision of support and personal care
- Can demonstrate previous experience of working in a Supported Living context
