Skills & Qualifications:
- Essential Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD) or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong leadership and team coordination abilities. Ability to engage with children and parents in a warm, approachable manner. Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding requirements.
- Personal Qualities: Creative, innovative, and open to new ideas. Friendly and empathetic, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of YMCA Values: You should align with the YMCA’s principles, particularly in supporting equality of opportunity and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for all children.
