What’s the Role:  Support Worker (Temporary 9 Month Contract)

 

What It Takes:

 

An important part of the staff role is to support the needs of individuals through the ethos and values of Praxis Care.

 

So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.

 

Our dedicated staff team support our individuals to learn and develop their skills to aid in their independence. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our individuals with day to day life.

 

 

Where You Would Work:  Coleraine Older People Service

 

Coleraine Older People Service provides support to individuals living with dementia, within their own home. The overall aim of our service is to promote greater independence, by enhancing life skills in areas such as problem solving, budgeting and home management. We encourage individuals to, engage with the local community as well as other support services, to lead as active and fulfilled life as possible. Our staff team work jointly, to provide activities, as well as individually, which encourages the development of their skills and experience.

Salary Details:

 

Support Worker

Part Time (9 month temporary contract)

£24,133 - £26,647* per annum

 

 

 

 

*Salary based on 39 hours per week.  Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies*
