Support Care Worker x 3

Northern Ireland Institute for the Disabled (NIID)

Support Care Workers are expected to provide personal care to service users with learning disabilities and be able to support them in their daily living, developing independent living skills.

Pay: £7.60 - £8.00 per hour (dependent on qualifications achieved at the time of application)

Location: Stricklands Care Village, Downshire Road, Bangor

Support Care Workers will have demonstrable knowledge in the delivery of care and support to vulnerable adults and preferably have a minimum of QCF Level 2 or equivalent.

Hours: Varied contracts available including weekends and night work as required (shift times can be 7.45am - 2pm, 1.45pm - 8.00pm, 8.00am - 8.00pm, 7.45pm - 8.00am OR 9.00am - 3.00pm, 3.00pm - 9.00pm and 9pm - 9am sleepovers)


This position is subject to an Enhanced Access NI check. Copies of the relevant policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders as well as the Access NI Code of Practice are available on request. Please note that having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position with NIID.
