We are you looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Stroke Support Directorate. We have one position available based in Northern Ireland in our Belfast Office.
Reporting to the Volunteering & Community Manager, the Stroke Association Volunteering Coordinator will:
- Be responsible for ensuring implementation and compliance with volunteer processes
- Develop a culture of quality volunteer management across their geography
- Hold inductions with all new staff on how volunteering works within the organisation
- Provide ongoing guidance and support for volunteer managers across the geography
- Deliver or coordinate volunteer training and inductions
- Create, deliver and evaluate volunteer engagement events and conferences
- Facilitate user involvement for volunteers and volunteer managers, to develop and improve volunteering experience
- Lead of specific volunteering projects across the geography
- You will have a proven track record of managing, recruiting and developing volunteers. You will also have a good understanding and experience of working in health, social care and/or voluntary sector
