You will undertake activities required within the street outreach service that aims to provide a high quality, responsive service that meets the needs of people who are sleeping rough and those engaged in associated street culture (male and female) within the city of Derry/Londonderry.

Based at 23 Bishop Street, Derry/Londonderry; working within and around the city centre area

£23,520 per annum;37.5 hours per week, (rota shift basis to cover from 11am-11.30pm)

You will work for a leading voluntary sector, non-profit making organisation that provides professional advice on housing in Northern Ireland and solutions for people who find themselves in housing difficulties.

Your New Role
You will undertake activities required within the street outreach service that aims to provide a high quality, responsive service that meets the needs of people who are sleeping rough and those engaged in associated street culture (male and female) within the city of Derry/Londonderry.

Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available with an application pack)

• Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
• A relevant recognised qualification in health and social care or related field (Minimum NVQ level II or equivalent).
• At least two years recent experience of working with people who are sleeping rough/outreach work in the field of addictions and mental health/or experience of working with homeless people who are vulnerable who need support with addictions and mental health.
• Hold a driving licence (2 years +) and have access to a car.
• IT Skills.
