The Association
Radius Housing provides quality and affordable social housing in over 80 towns and cities throughout Northern Ireland. We provide a range of services from sheltered housing for the over 55’s and general needs housing for families and single people, as well as specialist care and support facilities for the frail, elderly, people with dementia and learning disabilities and other complex needs.
We are one of the major developer of homes in Northern Ireland and build and release around 400 homes every year, both properties for rent, and for private sale.

We are now looking for a Senior Development Officer – New Business who wishes to be part of our significant success, as we continue to create sustainable, energy efficient, innovative homes for the future.
To be shortlisted candidates need to provide evidence of the following as a minimum:
- Level six qualification (e.g. Bachelor's Degree, Graduate diploma) AND 3 years’ experience as a key development person with key duties to include growth, feasibility, new property business development OR at least 5 years relevant experience as outlined above within the last 10 years
- Demonstrable negotiations skills including experience of leading & completing successful complex negotiations for the acquisition and sale of land and property, with a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of partners in the development delivery process
- Demonstrable experience of acquisition/conveyancing and land contracts; carrying out professional, detailed option appraisals for new business and making recommendations at senior management level
- Computer literate with experience of spreadsheets, constructing budgets and cashflows
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to read drawings and appraise and comment on same
